Sufi teachings come to you!
'Friday Night Light'
We are very happy to annouce a new series of classes aimed at offering the Sufi teachings of peace and healing in a way that's easy for you, your friends and family. 'Friday Night Light' will be a series of Friday night classes offered in the homes of any person who wishes to host a class.
Here's how it works:
Who is teaching Friday Night Light: Pat Abdullah Aylward
Who are the classes open to? All
When will the classes be held? Friday nights from 7:00-8:30pm
Where will the classes be held? In the homes of people who invite me to teach.
How much does it cost? A donation for the teaching is appreciated
So, how exactly does it work? If you would like to have a class in your home, contact Pat by phone or email. Invite your friends and family who may be interested in Sufi teachings. If you are not a past student I ask that there be a minimum of 3 people for the class.
Are these introductory or advanced teachings? It will depend on who comes to the class. If there are new people I will offer the basic Sufi teachings of love, meditation, and healing. If it's a class of people who are more familiar with Sufi teachings I'll offer more advanced teachings.
Who can host a class? Any person who is willing to open their home.
What is the responsibility of the host? Open your house for the teachings. Offer water and tea. Insure that at least 3 people, including you, will be present for the class. Your address and phone number will not be posted on public web sites.
To start with I will teach one class in your home. My hope is to travel to homes throughout the Twin Cities metro area, especially to offer teachings to those who have a hard time travelling to classes and healing circles. Depending on the response, I may be willing to come back to your home for a follow-up class or classes.
If you would like to host a class please call Pat at 612-414-3317 or email at: pataylward@earthlink.net. We'll schedule an evening that works for you, me and your friends and family.
